There
seem to be a lot of people searching CL with wrong impressions about
Videographers/editors with their own gear.
A
videographer operates a camera. He does not have to own one. If he
does, he should not be expected to bring it to your project for free.
The
same goes for an editor - He edits - And is not required to have his
own setup. If he does, don't expect it for free.
Whatever
the case. To operate is one thing, to be an owner/operator means you
pay for the skill and the gear. Neither one is free.
Just
because I own it, it does not mean you get it for nothing.
Either
way, you are producing something that requires both skill and gear
and as such you will be expected to pay for both.
